Response:Yes they do
Question:I have new Flex Tubes EC50- for Hayward filter. The filter I have is older Model EC50AC. Each new Flex Tube contains a plastic "stick". The original Flex Tubes that came with the Model EC50AC Filter did not contain plastic 'styicks'/ What is the purpose of these plastic 'sticks'? Could they restrict the flow of water and cause undue pressure inside the tank? I'm having problems with DE leaking into the pool. John Garon

Response:Hi John, they have been coming this way for quite some time now. They should not cause any back pressure.Are the manifolds cracked at all? The slightest of cracks or gaps can cause the earth to return to the pool.
